Speaker: Zack Kenz, Concordia College Title: Global Asymptotic Behavior for Delay Dynamic Equations Abstract: A brief introduction of delay dynamic equations on timescales is provided. Then, conditions are given under which the trivial solution of a first-order nonlinear variable-delay dynamic equation is asymptotically stable, for arbitrary time scales that are unbounded above. Comparisons with more familiar discrete and continuous cases are given to demonstrate the motivation for concepts in generalized time scales.
